STATEMENT
One can’t understand an abstract art unless you understand the behavior of the paint. When you try to paint the flow of love in your veins, you can’t expect some one to understand that straight away. To understand abstract art you have to evolve yourself to a different level a different dimension. You have to see things eyes cant see. Otherwise just admire it the way you admire the sound of silence. Best is try not to understand abstract art just feel it experience it.
Often understanding kills the romance, intangible, immaterial, conjectural nonfigurative part of the art. If you concentrate too much on the actors playing the role you may miss the drama.
It takes years of hard work, passion, love, observation diffusion of colour to develop the technique that is unique to the artist to open into realms of the unknown to move your spirit.
Without cosmic interaction it is humanly impossible to be authentic and original.
I draw inspiration from every little and big things around me, the details of the plants , minerals life that are usually overlooked. I make observations through the camera lenses, focusing on the bark of dying tree, yellow moss and green lichen growing on the tree trunk, the close –up of veins on dark red Chinar tree, soft fluff of chestnut , tiny mushrooms growing off a tree, a flower in early bloom , planks of wood with their variegated textures , crescent moon in the monsoon cloud, echoed colures of the light on evening sky , there is a complete universe in every little thing – in the dead bark of a tree you find creatures and thriving live plant cycle. Even in a small puddle of water the whole cycle of life and death happens. Everything around us is the expression of creator.
Mere pebbles found on a beach have a history of their own. Products of volcanoes locked among chains of Rocky Mountains, they have been carried to the cost by glaciers, molded by rivers and the onslaught of waves. Rocks each a unique piece of art, tell, through their beauty, texture,
